E30 Coding Plug
This board will replace the existing coding plug in your E30 instrument cluster to display the correct rev reading on the tachometer following an engine swap.
Options are:
6 Cylinder - 7000rpm
8 Cylinder - 7000rpm
Please note that this product does not come with the plastic housing for the coding plug. You will need to replace the circuit board in your existing coding plug housing.
Procedure is as simple as removing the old board and inserting the new one! Instructions are included in the package.
This is compatible with both VDO and Motometer instrument clusters for vehicles manufactured after January 1986.
